Via Binda

Milan, Italy

Via Binda is a conversion and refurbishment project for a jewellery designer who had purchased a raised ground floor and basement level property within a historic building in Milan. One of the main challenges was to maximize the amount of light entering the lower level and to transform the apartment into a pleasant living space.

WAY has proposed opening up part of the gorund floor slatb, which runs along the front windows, in order to let sin light in to the downstairs area and to connect the levels. The upper level will be used for living area and the lower level as an artist’s studio.

We are working with architect Maurizio Petronio on this project.
